1981 Bimota SB3

This bike is a standard engine GS1000 machine – built by Mocheck in London.

Three owners from new, including myself – one of 402 frames made by Bimota – Designed and Engineered by the legendary Massimo Tamburini.

The bike has been recently recommissioned including chain sprockets, engine service and

Brembo double disc 280 front and single disc 260 rear brakes fitted.  The front suspension consists of 38mm Marzocchi front fork.

Runs beautifully.  An iconic machine.

The Bimota SB3 was the most successful bike built in the 1970s.  At the time it was proven to be the fastest of all street bikes then available on the market.

The tubular structure of the SB3 preserved the distinctive conical inserts in order to make the frame easy to dissassemble and to make access eay for maintenance work.
